Comic number two! I tweaked the look of the site a bit. I think its really starting to come together and I’m starting to get to grips with all this CSS malarky. There are still a few things I want to change and hopefully soon I’ll have a cast page up (probably after I introduce a few more characters).
Feel free to leave a few comments about what you think so far.
Wow, the format looks pretty great, it is easy to look at. Maybe the Header could be fixed a little bit. (It just looks a little barren) You could possibly bump up the font size of ‘A webcomic at 64% proof’.
I agree with you about the banner. I’ve been thinking about creating a new one that incorporates the navigation bar. I’m going to leave it as a place holder for the moment till I get all the pages I want up and I can figure out all the CSS I’m going to need. Thanks for the comment, its good to know what people think of the site.
Uh, I’d say make the back/next buttons images, just so they stand out better I suppose.
Thats next on my list. I’m trying to think of something cool for the buttons, but nothing really springs to mind as yet. By all means make some suggestions.
Uhhh, I’d say lighting bolts pointing in opposite directions for ‘First’ and ‘Latest’.
Make ‘Back’ and ‘Next’ uhhhh… flags? Or spell books?
And I’d say make the ‘Main’ button a flagon of ale. Or something.

For the previous/next buttons, maybe you could use bottles of ale tipping over right/left.
That’s a good idea. Just need to think of the first and last buttons
Unless you used the ale bottles as a theme. half bottles (perhaps pouring) for next/back, tilting appropriately. Full/stoppered bottle for first and empty bottle for last?
